Preserve Your Mental Health

 In Nurses Weekly

Meditation is all about creating a non-judgmental awareness of our thoughts and feelings. By being non-judgmental, we are affording ourselves the ability to clear our minds or open our minds to things that otherwise may not be pleasant and, in return, could hurt our mental health.

By engaging in meditation, we can get rid of the cobwebs and preserve our mental health.

One Buddhist Monk explains meditation with much humor. Please watch this very short video to understand how to engage in meditation.

Please stay safe, stay mentally and physically healthy and meditate when you can. Every little bit counts!

Sincerely,

Healthy Nurse Amita Avadhani and the Healthy Nurse Healthy New Jersey Team
