The New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA) is dedicated to the proliferation of high-quality nursing continuing professional development.  The mission of NJSNA is to promote the profession of nursing; advance the practice of nursing and advocate for nurses.  NJSNA achieves its mission through education, policy development, leadership, professional representation, and workplace advocacy.  Since 1978, NJSNA has been accredited as an approver of nursing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center is committed to nursing excellence and high-quality in nursing continuing professional development.  ANCC’s Commission on Accreditation is responsible for establishing standards for nursing continuing professional development for the nursing profession.
