Pediatric Nurse Created Summer Camp for NJ/PA Kids With Brain Injuries
After learning there was no resource in the community for children with brain injuries, a pediatric nurse created Camp Cranium that now serves approximately 60 campers with acquired or traumatic brain injuries.
Her organization provides events year-round to help support our campers and their families with a yearly teen adaptive ski trip each February to the Poconos, adaptive climbing events in the Philadelphia region, adaptive dance classes in Philadelphia and New Jersey, and even a reunion each fall at the Phillies game.
