Free Month-Long Gratitude Symposium

 In Nurses Weekly

Forty-five well-known experts are banding together to provide health care workers and students with a month-long series of presentations meant to thank, teach and inspire those in health care.

Health care has always had challenges; these past 14 months have taken the word “challenge” to new heights. And as they always do, health care workers met and exceeded the challenge.

During the last few months, several health care subject matter experts have been discussing one way to say thank you. This is how the May 2021 month-long Gratitude Symposium was born.

Each expert created a video from 15 to 50 minutes long based on their area of expertise. This content will be available through the Gratitude Symposium website. Each weekday, one to three videos will be released on the website.

All a person has to do is register to view the material. The material is free, and people can watch the video on their schedule.

This symposium is for those in health care who serve in any role.

As another way to give back, the group is donating $75,000 to The DAISY Foundation and $25,000 to AUPHA.

What Will be Covered?

The Gratitude Symposium experts and partners have created a solid foundation of learnings and will deliver diverse content. You will leave feeling better than when you came in as well as well as additional tools and techniques to utilize in your job. The array of experts will cover topics including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, employee wellbeing, creating high-performance organizations and emotional intelligence. In my video, I explain why gratitude today is the essential platform for future optimism.
