The Rutgers School of Nursing Alumni Association Scholarship & Awards Gala will take place from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 in the ballroom of Nanina’s In the Park in Belleville. Join Rutgers nursing alumni for a black-tie optional open bar gala affair as we help to further the advancement and growth of Rutgers Nursing by providing scholarships for undergraduate and graduate-level students.
This year marks a momentous occasion as we celebrate the retirement of our beloved former dean of the Rutgers School of Nursing, William L. Holzemer, Ph.D., RN, FAAN. After a tenure marked by unprecedented expansion and successes for the Rutgers College of Nursing and now School of Nursing, The Alumni Association honors Dean Holzemer with the 2019 President’s Award.
Celebrations will continue as we formally recognized the 2019-2020 Outstanding Alumni Award Winner Judith Persichilli and the 2019-2020 Rising Star Award Winner Kristy Agresta.
Student scholarship winners will be presented with their awards and scholarships as we celebrate an evening of nursing excellence!
