TRENTON, N.J. – May 5, 2017 – After contributing to a successful campaign that helped grow New Jersey State Nurses Association’s (NJSNA) membership, Victoria Hurley-Schubert, public relations and social media specialist, has been recognized for excellence by two communications industry organizations.

Hurley-Schubert is a staff member at Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), a full service, award-winning, strategic marketing and integrated communications firm in Princeton Junction.

“Vikki has become an integral member of the NJSNA team, working hand-in-hand with our board and members,” said Judith Schmidt, NJSNA CEO. “She has helped us attract new members by increasing our visibility and promoting the work our members do on behalf of all nurses. She is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities for NJSNA.”

Hurley-Schubert was honored as one of Jersey’s Best Marketing and Communications Professionals Under 40 by the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association (JSPRAA) and New Jersey Advertising Club (NJ ADClub) at an awards reception on May 4 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.

Since the organization began working with CMA, NJSNA experienced a 12-percent membership increase in 2016, increased visibility advocating for a gun violence study by the Centers for Disease Control, and secured six high-profile speaking engagements for its senior leadership.

Hurley-Schubert, who joined CMA in December 2014, helps clients build their brand, reputation and revenue through public relations and social media, business development, and client management.

“Last year, CMA put one of its clients in the news—on average—every 12 hours and in front of two million targeted individuals every day,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CEO and president of CMA, which has been successfully delivering brand awareness and increased visibility for 30 years. “Vikki plays an integral role in the team’s success, leading the team with media placements for the past two years. She sets the example for client delight. It has been a pleasure watching her help the nurses raise their visibility and showcase them as leaders in New Jersey healthcare.”

JSPRAA, founded in 1965, is a membership organization that attracts professionals from the design, writing, marketing, public relations and multimedia disciplines and provides opportunity for networking, professional development, information-sharing and building lasting relationships.

The NJ ADClub, founded in 1959, promotes creative and media resources, creates a dialog on issues of importance to the ad community, helps members develop new skills, provides opportunities for business relationships and reaches advertising and marketing decision-makers at New Jersey-based companies.
