COVID Hope and Healing Program for Health Care Workers

 In Nurses Weekly

As the unpredictable and unknown challenges are created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the NJ Healthcare Worker COVID Hope and Healing Program was developed to serve nurses impacted by the COVID pandemic. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and not uncommon, many nurses already faced burnout, as well as stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and even suicide. With the addition of this health crisis, nurses are struggling with greater workplace hardships and moral injury causing increasing levels of burnout and related mental health problems.

The NJ Healthcare Worker COVID Hope and Healing Program aims to empower every caller and help them find natural supports through crisis counseling and a resolution to whatever challenge they may be facing.
