NJSNA Advocacy Corner
NJSNA is advocating for nurses by speaking with our political leaders both on the state and federal level.
There are many issues that have arisen during this pandemic. Here are three that we need to focus on improving asap:
- Availability of PPE for all healthcare facilities: Acute, Long Term, Group Homes, Home Care etc.
- Mental Health Counseling for both healthcare workers and the community at large
- Ability of APNs to have full practice authority
