The 106th New Jersey State League of Municipalities (NJLM) conference was held from November 16-18 for three days at Atlantic City. The theme was Creating Your Legacy. This was the first time I attended this event. It was amazing to see the exhibit hall filled with commercial firms, government agencies, nonprofits and associations displaying their latest products and services used by New Jersey’s local governments.

The event was very well organized, with multiple checks for the safety of everyone present.

The NJLM event enabled the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA) to network with municipalities, fire and police leaderships and businesses focusing on public health and safety, which will help increase the number of stakeholders that will support our legislative agenda.

Members from Interested Nurses Political Action Committee (INPAC), namely Judith Schmidt, Mary Ellen Levine, Keith Hovey, Lisa Golini, Mary Leban, Anne Ugrovics and Rachel Koshy, attended the NJLM conference, taking turns manning the INPAC booth.
