Who Can Become A Member?

Any LPN who has paid the annual NJSNA membership fee will be a dual NJSNA and FLPN member. Membership Form and payment is available below.

Where do my membership fees go?

All funds support NJSNA & FLPN initiatives, including meeting expenses, speaker honorariums, educational materials, and meeting day necessities.

What is my responsibility?

Attend quarterly meetings to stay up to date on NJSNA & FLPN happenings.

NJSNA & FLPN offer a community that promotes involvement and getting to know fellow nurses in NJ. Membership meetings, social events, educational seminars, and more provide an inclusive community with opportunities for leadership and growth!

The membership fee for a full year membership is $99.00. This includes discounts to various businesses, discounted insurance rates, free educational and online materials, webinars that grant NPDs, and so much more. Reach out to one of our Executive officers for more information on membership dues and

perks.

We have multiple platforms of communication, including a private member’s only Facebook forum! Here, you can connect with peers and receive information on member events and news. You will be invited to join this after you complete the membership process. We can also be reached via email at lpnforum@njsna.org. 

There are four executive officers within FLPN. Elections will occur biennially, with Vice Chairperson and Treasurer being elected/ appointed, and in the alternate year, Secretary will be elected/ appointed. Vice Chairperson will serve as Chairperson immediately following their initial 2 year term (4 years total). Treasurer and Secretary are both 2 year terms.

NJSNA does have scholarship opportunities! As a member of NJSNA, you will be eligible to apply for these.

This forum serves as a great place for information on programs throughout the state, helping you to connect with peers who may be on the same path, as well as the mentorship of RN members who may have accomplished the same goals!

The membership payment is only available on an annual basis that will be renewed on January 1st of each calendar year for $99.00. If you are a first time member who is initiating membership after June, your dues will be $60.00 for the remainder of the year, and will renew in January of the following year for $99.00. This reduced charge is one- time courtesy for new members who join late in the calendar year. We suggest joining as close to January as possible to get the most out of your membership!
