Welcome to Region 3
Dear NJSNA Region 3 Members
As we begin an exciting new year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your commitment to the nursing profession. Although our journeys have proven to be difficult at times, your unwavering dedication has been instrumental in overcoming all challenges. Nursing is not just a career; it’s a calling. It’s a calling to heal, comfort, and advocate for those in need. It’s a calling to be the voice of compassion and empathy in a world that often feels dispirited. It’s a calling to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and to contribute to the betterment of society as a whole. As members of NJSNA Region 3, we have a unique opportunity to amplify our impact. I encourage us to stand together and advocate for policies that benefit both nurses and patients. We can share knowledge and best practices, fostering growth and excellence in our field.
As a member of the only organization in New Jersey that advocates for all nurses, please take full advantage of your NJSNA Region 3 membership. Attend our meetings and social events, enlighten in our educational presentations, and actively participate in the discussions and on committees that matter most to you. Your presence will strengthen a sense of community within our region and shape the future of nursing in our state. You are not simply a member of our organization but a member of our nursing family. Let us remember that our work is not just a job; it’s a privilege. It’s a privilege to be at the forefront of healthcare and to be trusted in the lives of those we serve. Let us be beacons of hope, healing, and humanity, not just for our patients but for one another. Thank you for your dedication and passion for nursing. Together, we will achieve greatness in 2024.
Sincerely,
Alissa V. Walaszek, RN, BSN
President, NJSNA Region 3
