I am Sheila Caldwell, BSN, RN, CSN, FNASN. I was installed as the Region 6 President on January 4, 2025 and will serve in the position through the end of December 2026.
I have a strong presence in nursing, school nursing and other organizations.
Leading a region that has more than 1400 nurses is going to be very exciting. I am very passionate about our practice and will continue to bring the same energy to this role that I do in my many others.
My goal is to continue the momentum of increasing the engagement of the members in the Region 6 counties as well as looking to elevate our nursing profession.
I will share my bio at a later date, but wanted to provide a basic introduction.

Annually, Region 6 offers the Scholarship for Nursing Education in honor of Dr. Beulah Eglantine Miller. Scholarships are awarded to nursing students who are pursuing one of the following levels of nursing education:
– Entry-level
– RN to BSN
– MSN (advanced degree)
– Doctorate in Nursing
Up to 4 scholarships may be awarded per year. The recipient must be a resident of Region 6 or attending nursing school in Region 6. The application deadline is October 15.
